Existem decisões que tomamos apenas para responder ao momento. Outras definem quem somos e o que deixaremos como contribuição quando o tempo passar. Ao longo da minha trajetória na cirurgia plástica, compreendi que não queria construir uma carreira guiada por tendências, pressão de mercado ou retorno financeiro imediato.
Escolhi trabalhar a partir de convicção. Convicção de que cada indicação deve ser ética, cada planejamento deve ser individualizado e cada tratamento precisa fazer sentido dentro da história e da realidade de quem me procura.
Não acredito na cirurgia como impulso, nem na estética como resposta emocional. Acredito na decisão madura, fundamentada e consciente. Acredito na medicina como responsabilidade. Meu compromisso nunca foi fazer mais, mas fazer o que considero correto, mesmo quando isso significa indicar menos, esperar mais ou simplesmente não realizar um procedimento.
Essa postura naturalmente aproxima um perfil específico de paciente. Muitos homens se identificam com essa forma de pensar porque constroem suas próprias trajetórias com estratégia, disciplina e visão de longo prazo. Para eles, imagem não é vaidade, é posicionamento. Mas não são apenas os homens que compartilham dessa mentalidade. Há muitas mulheres que também entendem a cirurgia plástica como parte de um projeto de vida estruturado, que tomam decisões com consciência e não buscam atalhos. O ponto central nunca foi gênero. Sempre foi mentalidade.
Eu escolhi exercer a cirurgia plástica como um campo de responsabilidade intelectual e técnica, estabelecendo um padrão próprio de atuação guiado por ética, visão global do paciente, conhecimento teórico profundo associado à excelência cirúrgica. Não trabalho para seguir movimentos. Trabalho para construir um legado sólido e coerente. Minha contribuição não será medida pelo volume de procedimentos realizados, mas pelo posicionamento que construí e mantive ao longo da minha trajetória.
LEGACY
There are decisions we make simply to respond to the moment. Others define who we are and what we will leave behind as a contribution when time has passed.
Throughout my career in plastic surgery, I understood that I did not want to build a path guided by trends, market pressure, or immediate financial return.
I chose to work from conviction. The conviction that every indication must be ethical, every plan must be individualized, and every treatment must make sense within the history and reality of the person who seeks me.
I do not believe in surgery as impulse, nor in aesthetics as an emotional reaction. I believe in mature, grounded, and conscious decision-making. I believe in medicine as responsibility. My commitment has never been to do more, but to do what I consider correct — even when that means recommending less, waiting longer, or simply not performing a procedure.
This posture naturally attracts a specific profile of patient. Many men identify with this way of thinking because they build their own paths with strategy, discipline, and long-term vision. For them, image is not vanity — it is positioning. But it is not only men who share this mindset. There are many women who also understand plastic surgery as part of a structured life project, who make decisions consciously and do not seek shortcuts. The central point has never been gender. It has always been mentality.
I chose to practice plastic surgery as a field of intellectual and technical responsibility, establishing my own standard of practice guided by ethics, a global vision of the patient, deep theoretical knowledge, and surgical excellence.
I do not work to follow movements. I work to build a solid and coherent legacy. My contribution will not be measured by the volume of procedures performed, but by the positioning I built and sustained throughout my career.
